How to use these clock labels
There is no correct or incorrect way to set these up. Most teachers add the labels around the clock face as a ring, placing :00 at the top and continuing around in order. Some like to use only the quarter hour words, while others use the full minute set so students can see every five minute increment. A few ideas:
- Place the wording strips on the right half of the display for easy visibility
- Mix and match the pastel and bold sets to match your current classroom colours
- Use the minute circles for small group lessons or math centres
- Print two sets so students can practise building the clock during hands on time lessons
